SUBSTANCE ABUSE

Both inpatient and outpatient services are available for substance abuse. A full listing of services is located at the bottom of this page.

Cumberland River Comprehensive Care Center operates a variety of programs for individuals suffering from substance abuse problems. Services include screening, assessment, diagnostic evaluations, counseling/therapy, referral, and discharge planning. The agency also provides DUI programs in most locations.

After the initial screening and assessment, the therapist and the consumer (client) work together to develop a treatment plan. This activity is a key component in assisting the individual in learning essential skills necessary to effectively deal with his/her particular problem. It is in this process that the consumer (client) understands that he/she must be responsible, and will learn the importance of this in getting his/her life back under control.

Substance Abuse Services are provided in both the clinics and in many schools throughout the eight county area. Two inpatient locations also provide in-depth services.

The admission fee is $200.00. Alcoholics Anonymous is an integral component of the treatment program. Additional charges are based on the individual's ability to pay.

Crossroads is an all-male residential substance abuse facility located in London, Kentucky. Crossroads primarily serves substance abusers in the eight-county service area; however, referrals are accepted statewide.* This structured program provides 30 days of intensive substance abuse treatment, with transitional living services available.
